Ecology, Economy and Society—the INSEE Journal is a diamond open access bi-annual peer reviewed journal of the Indian Society for Ecological Economics (INSEE) a registered society since 1999.

EES is indexed in Scopus and Directory of Open Access Journal (DOAJ) database, is a member of Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), Crossref and Free Journal Network. It is archived in AgEcon Search and at LOCKSS through PKP Preservation Network.

EES offers authors a forum to address socio-environmental issues from, across and within the natural and social sciences, with an aim to promote methodological pluralism and inter-disciplinary research.
