Online Panel Discussion on

In July 2024, Kerala witnessed the deadliest landslide that took place in Wayanad, leading to a massive loss of lives and livelihoods, physical and environmental assets, leaving pondering once again about Environment and Development. Keeping the Wayanad landslides at the backdrop, INSEE is organising an online Panel Discussion on "Environment and Development: Thinking Beyond the Binary in the Backdrop of the Wayanad Landslide" 

We will be happy to host three eminent panellists:

Professor Madhav Gadgil, Former Professor at the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru

Dr. S Abhilash, Advanced Centre for Atmospheric Radar Research, CUSAT

Dr. N Anil Kumar, Director, Kerala Biodiversity Board. 

The session will be chaired and moderated by Prof. Seema Purushothaman, President, INSEE.
