The Indian Society for Ecological Economics (INSEE) has conferred the Lifetime Achievements Award 2026 on Professor Kanchsan Chopra for her outstanding and consistent contributions to national and international discourses and interventions as well as foundational contributions to the field of Ecological Economics in India, especially in establishing INSEE and the journal ‘Ecology, Economy and Society - the INSEE Journal’. The award was presented at a special felicitation function jointly organised by INSEE and the Institute of Economic Growth at IEG on August 5th 2026

The Indian Society for Ecological Economics (INSEE) has conferred the Lifetime achievements Award to Professor C H Hanumantha Rao for his outstanding contributions to the agricultural and ecological economics, development studies and to the nation and society.
The award has been presented at the tenth Biennial Conference of the Indian Society for Ecological Economics (INSEE) held at the Centre for Economic and social Studies, Hyderabad during November 6-8, 2019.
