Airport Arrival and Departure
Airport Taxi: For those arriving by flight, can take a pre-paid taxi from the airport. Please mention KILA, Thrissur as the destination. The cost an A/C taxi to the venue is about Rs 1700. Cochin Airport (Nedeumbaserry) is 65 kms away from KILA. It takes about 90-120 minutes from the airport to KILA depending on the traffic conditions.
Those going from KILA to Airport on conclusion of the conference can book taxis at the conference helpdesk at the time of registration.
Airport Bus: There is a a direct Airport bus from the arrival area to Thrissur town. The AC busses costs about Rs.100 and are comfortable. These buses connect airport to different cities in state and you can board the one that passes through Thrissur. The bus terminal is near the airport canteen, some 500 meters from the departure exit of domestic terminal. From Thrissur town you could get an auto to KILA that would cost you about Rs 100 - Rs. 200 depending on bus station that you alight and the time of the day. Thrissur bus terminal is around 11 kms from KILA. Some app based taxi services also operate in Thrissur town.
Train Arrival and Departure
If you are arriving at Thrissur by train there are autos and taxis available from right outside the station. It takes about 45 minutes to KILA and costs between Rs.150-200 per auto. Thrissur railway station is around 12 kms from KILA.
Bus Arrival and Departure
If you are arriving at Thrissur by bus there are autos and taxis available from the bus station. It takes about 45 minutes to KILA and costs between Rs.150-200 per auto.
In case the auto/taxi driver is not familiar with KILA, you could perhaps show the driver following:
